Orimi Trade delegation took part in the Global Tea Forum

The Global Tea Forum, engaged more then 300 representatives from all sectors of tea industry, has come over in Dubai. Organized in February, 2006 for the first time, this Forum became a significant event for tea industry.
Dubai Tea Forum-2008 has welcomed Tea Councils representatives and other professionals from Kenya, India, Sri-Lanka, Indonesia, Morocco, United Kingdom and Russia. The subjects of reports, presented at The Forum, were: world tea industry actual condition and next 10-years perspectives; tea production, packing and consumption tendencies; tea promotion and popularization.
Darjeeling teas tasting and the final round of the 4th South Indian teas contest, organized by Indian Tea Council and United Planters of South India Association. were also included in Tea Forum Schedule.
Orimi Trade specialists were among the experts, who estimated more than 60 varieties of leaf and CTC teas from different tea regions of South India.
