| 2008-02-18 Orimi Trade traditionally has presented novelties at ProdExpo 2008 “The sensitive barometer of food industry” – this is the name of ProdExpo-2008, given by the press. This traditional international food exhibition, taken place in Moscow for the 15th time, has again confirmed its reputation of the main food industry event, providing all market players with effective business contacts.
This year ProdExpo has grown in size up to record level and has covered more than 44 000 sq m. There were more than 2200 exhibitors from 65 countries and only 2/3 of participants were domestic. Foreign companies’ interest for ProdExpo is noticeably growing: the number and quality of them are increasing, besides, this year companies from more than 30 countries were represented at state level.
Orimi Trade has exhibited at ProdExpo for the 13th time and - according to traditions - has presented novelties in its ranges. This year company has exhibited only premium brands – Greenfield and TESS teas and Jardin coffees – and its new varieties attracted a lot of interest of visitors and other exhibitors.
Greenfield collections have presented some rare teas – Greenfield White Bloom, Chinese white tea from Hunnan province; Greenfield Highland Oolong, Chinese oolong tea from Fujian province; Greenfield Noble Pu-Erh, Chinese Pu-Erh tea from Yunnan province. There were also news in Greenfield Japanese Sencha – it’s also available in leaf now, not only in teabags.
TESS tea collections also enjoyed great interest of ProdExpo visitors.
Jardin coffees had permanent success, especially its new professional varieties of Ethiopia Sidamo and Colombia Supremo, specially created for cafes and restaurants. Jardin’s new offer – freeze-dry coffee: Colombia Medellin, Kenya Kilimanjaro and Guatemala Atitlan - had also awaked visitors’ interest.
